We have been a tennis family since 1957, when the founder and owner of the Club, Bane Vucetic, first took a racquet in his hand and has never put it down since.

 

As a long term coach of the Red Star Tennis Club, followed by Coach and Director of the Partizan Tennis Club, through active involvement in tennis, he met his future wife Dora Alavantic, former member of the National Team of Yugoslavia.

 

Then into the world came their son Nikola, better known as Kica and 11 years later their daughter Aleksandra or Sasha for short. They both took their first steps on a tennis court and so continued with the family tennis tradition.

 

The unusual name of the club “SA & NI “, built by Bane and Dora, comes from the first two letters of each of their children’s names. Both children have been brought up in the “tennis spirit”, nursing the love for the game and passing it over to all who feel the charm of tennis and tennis spirit which prevails in the club.

 

And so for over twenty years now the Vucetic family has been expanding and developing the tennis spirit, healthy human relations and living under the slogan “Tennis, Club.. A way of life….”
